Shri Murugan Institute of Education was started in a small way at H31C, HIG Flats, South Avenue, Kamaraj Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai-41 on 5th May 1994 with ten students. With our untiring effort and excellent method of Educational coaching our student strength swelled to two hundred and fifty in two years. Then for the convenience of the students and parents the Institute was Shifted to 18/G1, Temple View Flats, West Tank street, Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai-41. In July 1997.

Shri Murugan Institute of Education founded in 1994, as a small institute with 10 students has now grown to 250 today because of the established reputation for excellence in the field of education we provide. This is also because of our distinguished efforts and Strong Mission that are rooted in a commitment of social Justice we know that the Education Transforms Lives and so do our students.

Education has the power to change people's lives for the better. This can be through engaging students with a lifelong passion for learning, motivation to reach their potential and giving confidence to explore their thoughts and ideas.
